As I begin the next phase of my career, I’m focusing on what I care most deeply about: defending our environment through its inextricably linked facets, such as advancing sustainability, strengthening conservation, combating climate change, and fighting for social justice. I’m actively pursuing roles in climate, animal welfare, and humanitarian spaces.

For the past seven years, I’ve worked in the advertising industry with a wide range of exposure to a multitude of projects, clients, and organizational structures. I found my niche as a Project Manager, then progressed to a Senior Project Manager while working on a variety of projects (primarily social content production and website development for companies like Salesforce, Intel, and Microsoft). While growing my accounts as a Senior PM, I discovered my proclivity for and proficiency in operations, and began to seek out additional responsibilities.

This led me to my next roles, first as the Senior Operations and Resource Manager for the dentsu Creative Service Line, then as the Associate Director of Operations at Ogilvy. In these positions, I was dedicated to continuously expanding my knowledge of operations functions such as scalable, optimized workflow development, database administration, resource management, contract reconciliation, and financial analysis.

I was impacted by layoffs when my position was eliminated. Though common in advertising, this was the first time I was affected, and the experience made me take pause to consider my career trajectory and personal values. Layoffs are often viewed adversely, but more than anything I feel grateful, as it pushed me to assess what’s deeply important to me. I committed to volunteer work, extensive reading, and courses related to climate change, human rights, and animal welfare, and began looking for a career to direct my resolute work ethic toward causes I truly care about.
